AdGuard Home is a network-wide software for blocking ads and tracking. After you set it up, it'll cover ALL your home devices, and you don't need any client-side software for that. It operates as a DNS server that re-routes tracking domains to a “black hole”, thus preventing your devices from connecting to those servers. Tomcat is a Application Server. It is possible to run Web application ARchive (WAR) files using Tomcat. Apache Tomcat requires a JDK in order to run. ### Prerequisite * JDK (Java Development Kit) is required. It can be any JDK compatible with Oracle JDK 8. It was not listed as dependency, in order to support different variations of JDK. * Environment variable `JAVA_HOME` needs to be set to a JDK path. Many JDK installers already do this for users. ### Usage After installation, configuration and application data are installed in a folder named `Tomcat9` (or the correct major version), which locates in `%ProgramData%` (or `%LocalAppData%` when admin right is not granted).
