|||
2.10.0 | Feb 6, 2023 | stable
We made some improvements and fixed some bugs.
You can now tap the Share icon on your iPhone or iPad to quickly and easily save any text as a document in the Grammarly Editor. Look for Grammarly alongside your other available apps. You’ll be prompted to give your document a title. And, that’s it!
When you edit a document on multiple devices, you should no longer have to dismiss the same suggestions multiple times. In other words, if you don’t want to use the Oxford comma when you edit a document on your phone, we will assume that you still don’t want to use the Oxford comma when you continue to edit that document on your desktop.
Finally, we also fixed some bugs affecting the Grammarly Keyboard.

2.9.1 | Jan 30, 2023 | stable
We made a small but important update to our latest release.
We fixed a bug that was causing the Editor to crash. It should be good to go now!
Release 2.9.0:
We have a big update for those of you who use Indian English.
You can now set your dialect to Indian English, which supports an additional 500 words and 13,000 proper nouns. That means you can text about eating khichdi, paan, and chikki, and those words won’t be marked as misspelled. Don’t forget to do the needful and tell all your friends!
We also fixed some bugs and made some improvements.
* When you create a new document in the Editor and decide not to write anything in it, we will no longer save that document for you. Who needs a bunch of blank documents, right?
* We will also now ask you to confirm that you want to delete your documents so that you don’t accidentally do it and lose your text.
* Finally, the Grammarly Keyboard no longer blinks. What a blinking bug that was…
We hope your new year is off to a good start!

Grammarly - Keyboard & Editor 2.8.1
After releasing version 2.8.0, we made a small, but important update.
We quickly fixed two additional bugs that we didn’t want to let fester.
- If you have any relatively old documents in the Editor (we’re talking from 2018 or 2019, which, let’s be honest, feels like eons ago), you may be unable to access any of your documents (even the ones from 2022). That’s no longer the case!
- We also fixed an issue in which our app sometimes crashed when people tried to share their documents.
With this update, you should now be able to open and share your documents without running into any problems.
Release 2.8.0
We fixed some bugs and made some improvements.
- You can now bold the keys on your keyboard again. You can also capitalize letters, but importantly, we won't do it randomly for you anymore. Finally, don't be afraid to use the backspace key because it has become unstuck.
- Moving forward, the iPhone Editor is even better. It's now easier to duplicate, delete, export, print, and find text in your documents. You can also see your word count, reading time, and readability score, just like on the desktop version.
- We also released a sticker pack for iMessage so you can express yourself with fun phrases and punctuation marks—such as em dashes, ampersands, & ellipses... We hope they bring you joy!
Happy holidays!

2.7.0 | Nov 11, 2022 | stable
We don't have any big updates this time, but you'll still want to get the latest version because we fixed some bugs and made some improvements.
– We fixed a bug that was suppressing sound and haptic feedback on keypress. Sounds good, right?
– We also brought back our new, powerful emoji search that we accidentally turned off for a minute.
– Finally, if you've had trouble opening files with capitalized extensions in the Grammarly Editor, we're happy to report that you shouldn't have trouble doing that anymore. You can now open 20+ different file types, including .pdfs and .PDFs.

2.6.0 | Oct 6, 2022 | stable
This update contains new features, including a long-awaited one (that's right, swipe typing is here!).
• Raise the curtain for swipe typing! Swipe from one letter to the next to write and revise faster on the Grammarly Keyboard.
• We also introduced widgets for your home screen. Keep a close watch on your writing insights and get quick access to your recent documents.
• Last but not least, there’re focus filters. Use Grammarly while you’re in work mode without the distraction of any clicking sounds or vibrations.
• It probably goes without saying, but we also fixed some bugs and made some improvements.
We’re always trying to improve the keyboard. Keep your feedback coming!

This release has some significant improvements! We’re excited to share that we’ve added support for widgets and quick actions to bring more Grammarly functionality to the home screen. Documents now also load faster. Bugs we fixed include: crashes involving hardware keyboards on iPad, English dialect not updating on iPhone, and a stuck backspace issue.
Grammarly works best on iOS 15.4 or higher. If you haven’t updated your OS yet, we recommend doing so to ensure you keep receiving suggestions to help strengthen your writing wherever you type.
